Overview
Teaching in Thailand will provide you with the ability to level-up with your career! Follow your ambitions of teaching through signing up for a program that will result in a teaching contract. Alternatively, with a Bachelor’s degree sign on to teach right away and begin your teaching career in a different cultural context. Thailand has a lot of rich historical and cultural elements to satisfy those who want to keep learning and opportunities for adventure that would last a lifetime.
Eligibility
There are three components to a teacher’s eligibility: citizenship, education, and personality.
Citizenship
In order to obtain a visa to teach in Thailand, you need to be from one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
Education
To qualify for this role you need to have a Bachelor’s degree. If you do not have a Bachelor’s degree you can take a program that enables you to learn the ins and outs of teaching abroad and then lands you a contract.
Personality
Adjusting to a new environment can be tough, we are looking for candidates that are up for the challenge of moving and integrating into a new place. Thailand is an incredible country and we anticipate that the adjustment will be both challenging and rewarding!
Job Details
Depending on your experience and qualifications you will be teaching in a classroom context ranging from elementary to secondary ages and grades. The focus is English learning academies that provide Thai learners with the opportunity to expand their knowledge base. You will work with other foreign teachers and be provided with resources to help your teaching experience. The role consists of 25 teaching hours a week with dedicated time for preparation.

We believe that placements are only successful if both the teacher and the school are happy, therefore we are committed to getting to know our teachers so that we can place them in a school that fits. Teachers are asked to provide the AT team with their country and location preferences, we take these into consideration for a placement but ultimately will provide you with the best option.
